POD Zine 3: The Wall|SHU SHU
As we are witnessing a widening gap between people of different colors, ethnicities, beliefs, perceptions and stances, and our increasing reliance on smartphones and social media has brought us into a seemingly open, but actually narrower, world, POD's editorial team explores, reads, and depicts both physical and virtual walls, not only to gain a perspective ourselves through history, but also to portray some of the barriers and dilemmas we all face. By exploring and depicting some of the physical and virtual walls, the creators of POD not only gain a perspective on ourselves through history, but also portray the realities of the barriers and dilemmas that we all face. If there is anything left to do, let the world look forward to a change.

我们在当下看到,不论是肤色、民族、信仰的不同,还是观念和立场的不同,人与人的鸿沟在不断加大;对智能手机和社交媒体的日益依赖,更是让我们进入一个看似开放实则更为狭隘的世界。POD编辑部的主创们通过对一些实体以及虚拟的墙地探索、阅读和描摹,不仅拥有了一种透过历史旁观我们自身的视角,还用真实的感知描绘出了一些隔阂以及我们所共同面临的困境。如果还能做些什么,那么让世界一起期待一个变化。
